Aaron Kelley PMP


Aaron Kelley is the president of UpSlope Advisor, Inc. UpSlope is an 8(A) professional engineering federal contracting firm that provides mission-first IT and INTelligence solutions. Since 2018, UpSlope’s revenue and size have experienced an 11x growth.  UpSlope has prime and sub-contracts with multiple government agencies, including National Science Foundation (NSF), National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), United States Small Business Administration (SBA), and Navy.

Before UpSlope, Aaron spent 20 years providing subject matter expertise in test engineering, system engineering, & program management for a variety of government customers.  During that time frame, Aaron received multiple accolades, recognitions, and awards for his work supporting geospatial and aerospace projects.

Outside of UpSlope, Aaron is a husband, father, Geospatial Advocate, a GOVCON small business champion, and a change crusader.  Also, he is a Certified GEOINT Professional, PMP, and Product manager. He is an active member of multiple technical and small business-focused boards and organizations such as:

 

·       TECHINCAL: US Minority Contractors Association (USMCA), Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI), United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), FedGeoDay, and the Open Street Map (OSM) US Government Committee

 

·       GOVCON: Northern Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce (NVBCC), Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC), Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), Capital Business Development Association (CBDA), and Arlington Chamber of Commerce.

 

Aaron is a proud graduate of Morgan State University (Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering) and Michigan State University (Master of Science, Electrical Engineering).
