Dr. Stephen Stein Ph.D.
Dr. Steven Stein is the author and coauthor of several books in emotional intelligence including the newly released The EQ Leader: Instilling Passion, Creating Shared Goals, and Building Meaningful Organizations through Emotional Intelligence. Dr. Stein is also the author of international best-seller The EQ Edge: Emotional Intelligence and Your Success and is the author of Emotional Intelligence for Dummies. He has also written Make Your Workplace Great: The 7 Keys to an Emotionally Intelligent Organization and co-authored The Student EQ Edge: Emotional Intelligence and Your Academic and Personal Success.
A leading expert on psychological assessment and emotional intelligence, he has consulted to military and government agencies including the Canadian Forces©, U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy™, special units of the Pentagon, FBI Academy, as well as corporate organizations including American Express©, Air Canada©, Canyon Ranch®, Coca-Cola© (Mexico), and professional sports teams.
Dr. Stein has also consulted on numerous reality TV shows providing psychological expertise and candidate screening. He has worked with Big Brother Canada© (4 seasons),The Amazing Race Canada© (4 seasons), MasterChef Canada© (3 seasons), Real Housewives of Toronto, Game of Homes (2 seasons), Intervention Canada, Scare Tactics, Debbie Travis© (From The Ground Up I and II), Panic Button and others.

Dr. Stein is currently the Vice President of Jewish Family and Child Toronto (http://www.jfandcs.com/), a charitable foundation that supports the healthy development of individuals, children and communities through prevention, protection and counselling education. He is also Advisory Board Member of Computer Methods (CMic) (http://cmicglobal.com/), and a past Chairperson of the Psychology Foundation of Canada© (PFC). Dr. Stein is a former assistant professor in the psychiatry department at the University of Toronto© and former adjunct professor of psychology at York University© in Toronto. He is a past President of the Ontario Psychological Association© and a Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association©.
Since 2012, Dr. Stein has partnered MHS with Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Clubs, a charity that provides a safe haven for at-risk children and youth to develop social, behavioral and educational skills. Each year MHS raises and donates over $25,000 and 600 employee hours. Additionally MHS provides internships in different areas of the business for two young adults from the club.
