Jennifer Pitt

Jennifer grew up in Colorado and moved to Arizona in 2017 to escapte the cold weather and experience new adventures.

 

Jennifer is a Certified Fraud Examiner with a Master's Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.  She's a seasoned fraud investigator and a recognized Subject Matter Expert in vulnerable adult/elder financial exploitation in Colorado and Arizona.

 

Her background includes supervision of an investigations unit at Adult Protective Services and 15 years in law enforcement.  For the last 6 years of her law enforcement career, Jennifer conducted criminal investigations of complex financial crimes, including forgery, money laundering, identity theft and vulnerable adult/elder financial exploitation.

 

Jennifer has a passion to help those who cannot help themselves, particularly the elderly.  During her career, she recognized a gap in assistng the elderly -- no one really helped seniors learn how to avoid becoming victims of fraud.  When seniors became victims, they would simply report their crimes.  But wouldn't it be great if seniors recognized red flags and knew of techniques to avoid becoming a victim in the first place?

 

Understanding the need to fill this gap, in early 2020, Jennifer created Voice Against Fraud, LLC.  Jennifer empowers seniors to fight against fraud, by teaching classes on prevention of indentity theft, scams, and financial exploitation.  Additional information about Voice Against Fraud, LLC can be found on www.VoiceAgainstFraud.com.
