Karen Hager
Karen Hager is an intuitive guide and psychic channel. Aware of her gifts from a very early age, Karen pursued training in theatre working as an actor, director and producer in theatre and independent film; in theology, liturgy and pastoral counseling at CDSP Episcopal Seminary in Berkeley, CA; and in psychic development and energetic healing with Matthew Engel and Sophie Lhoste, among others.
It wasn't until she was in her 40's that Karen was guided to work professionally with people from all walks of life and from all over the world. Reading from the energy of the human voice, Karen uses her gifts of clairvoyance and clairaudience to connect quickly with what she calls "the questions behind the questions" that her clients bring her.
As the Fog City Psychic, Karen works with clients who are at a crossroads, feeling stuck, or are in transition to help them receive Spirit-led information about their next steps. Karen is passionate about helping people reconnect with their own natural intuitive abilities so they can move forward in their lives with more clarity and confidence. To that end, she teaches intuitive development and is at work on a book that aims to demystify getting in touch with your inner guidance. As the host of the popular weekly radio show "Out of the Fog," Karen interviews guests in all areas of spirituality, wellness, holistic practice, and the intuitive arts. The monthly Out of the Fog Salon, an online gallery reading for a small group of seekers, lets attendees get a guaranteed short reading on an urgent question of their choosing, and continues the generous, positive energy of the radio show.
Based for many years in San Francisco, Karen and her family now live in southeastern Michigan, where she and her spouse are raising two outstanding children and a very energetic dog. Karen loves to read, write, and is a lousy but persistent knitter. She's recently discovered the addictive joys of knitting socks
