Steve Brody
Steve has over thirty years of marketing, general management and consulting experience within large corporations and within privately held firms. Steve’s experience has been in the consumer packaged goods and services industry, including beverages, pasta, frozen and refrigerated prepared foods, electronic information services, and distribution services.
Steve is active in consulting at the Executive Management level. He currently operates Advisory Boards for CEOs of firms from diverse industries, plus one group of key Executives from those CEO members. This is for Vistage Intl an International Organization for CEOs with more than 20,000 members worldwide. In addition, Steve has consulted with clients in the areas of Strategic Business Plans, Marketing Plans, Market Research, Business Plans for equity investors and executive coaching.
During the prior ten years, Steve has served as President of several privately held firms, owned by venture capital investors. These firms have included both turn-around and high growth opportunities (PackageNet – a provider of UPS shipping services to consumers through supermarkets; Huxtable Foods – a West coast producer of frozen & refrigerated prepared meals; Utopia Spring Water – a Texas based bottled water producer and U.S. Videotel - a developer of information systems.
Previously, Steve served in various brand management and general management positions within The Minute Maid Company, the $2 billion juice division of The Coca-Cola Company. His last position was as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Division. Steve’s accomplishments included the introduction and expansion of Minute Maid refrigerated orange juice, the launch of calcium fortified Minute Maid orange juices, the national expansion of Five Alive juice drinks, and the negotiation of the first licensing agreement and national expansion of Bacardi Frozen Tropical Fruit Mixers. Steve also served as President of two Minute Maid subsidiaries, Belmont Springs Water Company and Ronco Pasta.
Steve has a MBA from the University of North Carolina and a BS degree from University of Maryland. Steve is active in several community organizations, is married and has two grown children.
